What is Shirk?
Shirk in English terminology is referred to as Blasphemy, and associating any partner with or equal to God is Shirk.
Shirk is also committed when we make Halal (Permissible) what Allah has made Haram (Prohibited) and vice versa because God is the only One who makes Halal and Haram as only He is Al Waali' - The Sole Planner, the Governor of all things who navigates the realms of creation, skillfully arranging and directing every aspect according to His divine wisdom and discernment.
Allah warns us not to prohibit things which He Himself has made lawful. He says, “O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors.” 5:87
The world today is a world created by the modern western civilization and Shirk is the foundation of the modern west. It is one of the most extraordinary and powerful civilization to have ever set foot on earth and it has risen upon the world like the sun rising from the West i.e., referring to the Hadith, ”The Hour will not begin until the sun rises from its place of setting.” (Bukhari)
The fast moving world today has so damaged our minds that we are unable to recognize that ‘we have embraced Shirk’, which most certainly includes the followers of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). In a Hadith Qudsi, the Prophet (ﷺ) is reported to have said, “The first one to be called (by Allah) on the Day of Resurrection will be Adam. He will be shown his progeny and it will be said, ‘This is your father Adam.’ He will say, ‘Here I am at Your service.’ Allah will say: ‘Bring forth those who are to be sent to Hell from among your progeny.’ He will say, ‘O Lord, how many should I bring forth?’ He will say, ‘Bring forth from every hundred ninety nine.’” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, if ninety nine are taken from every hundred of us, what will be left of us?” He said, “My ummah, among the other nations, is like a white hair on a black bull.” (Bukhari)
This ominous Prophecy indicates to us that on the day of judgment, ninety-nine out of every one hundred people will be put into the hell fire. Allah is Al 'Adl (Just God) and how is it then possible that He will send ninety-nine percent of His slaves into the hell fire? All the major sins such as drinking, fornication, usury, etc.. will be forgiven but not Shirk.
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray. 4:116
If an individual dies upon Shirk (without having repented from it), paradise will be prohibited on such a person. This now explains to us how ninety-nine percent of individuals will end up in the hell fire.
In Islamic Eschatology, we are of the opinion that we now live in the world of Gog and Magog, it is they who control the world today. They control our money, water, electricity, parliament, etc and have corrupted everything they've touched and are robbing us off of our spirituality. Now, let’s look at how they have controlled the world order and made us embrace Shirk.
Below we will discuss only three of the systems that all of mankind has embraced including the Muslims.
1)Shirk in The UN Charter
Article 24: In order to ensure prompt and effective action by the United Nations, its members confer on the Security Council primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security, and agree that in carrying out its duties under this responsibility the Security Council acts on their behalf.
Article 25: The Members of the United Nations agree to accept and carry out the decisions of the Security Council in accordance with the present Charter.
Now, if we carefully analyse these two articles we get a clear picture of the Shirk that all nation states including the Islamic republic of Pakistan and Iran have embraced. In the Quran, Allah says He is Al Malik (The King, The Sovereign, The Ruler), meaning He is the Supreme Authority, there is no authority other than His, there is no law greater than His law but the UN charter says that ‘the security council’ is the supreme authority pertaining to world peace and everyone who is the member of the UN has to agree to accept and carry out decisions of the security council.
Once we as nation states accept this, we also accept all the laws such as a man marrying another man, only 18+ are allowed to get married, legalization of gambling, usury, etc. The parliament made Halal (permissible) what Allah made Haram (prohibited) and vice versa and that is Shirk.
2) Shirk in Voting
Voting in a democratic elections is also Shirk.
By voting in a democratic elections we agree that the sovereignty belongs to the state and that the state has the right to have absolute and unlimited power, either legal or political, within the territory of a state. Now the parliament makes laws and not Allah because no one really cares about Allah's laws. The modern secular state rejects the divine laws to guide us in human affairs.
Have a look of what Allah says, “And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun.” 5:44
Allah also states, “If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allah." Then how are they deluded?” 29:61
We know Allah is the creator, who created us, created the countless galaxies that are being governed by His laws, we live on His earth, eat of His food, but still when it comes to governing our affairs there's no place for God and His laws? The fact is that we've constricted God only to the places of worship and other rituals, we reject even the idea that the supreme authority belongs only to God and that includes Muslims who happily go and vote in such elections.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, we Muslims will follow and adopt this world order given by the Judeo-Christian alliance, he said, “You will follow the Jews and Christians, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a lizard, you would follow them.” (Bukhari)
3) Shirk in The Monetary System
O ye who believe! Lo! Many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks devour the wealth of mankind wantonly and debar (men) from the way of Allah. They who hoard up gold and silver and spend it not (this would obviously be in the context of use of gold and silver as money) in the way of Allah, unto them give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom. 9:34
The Quran clearly makes mention about gold and silver as money, but the International monetary fund i.e., The IMF prohibits the use of gold as a method of payment instead they have given us fake money and assigned to it a fictitious value.
The Articles of Agreement of the IMF prohibited the use of gold as money. It did so by prohibiting any link between gold and paper currencies other than the US dollar.
Art. 4 Section 2(b) of the Articles of Agreement stated: “exchange arrangements may include (i) the maintenance by a member of a value for its currency in terms of the special drawing right or another denominator, other than gold, selected by the member, or (ii) cooperative arrangements by which members maintain 40 the value of their currencies in relation to the value of the currency or currencies of other members, or (iii) other exchange arrangements of a member's choice.”
The above statement of the IMF plainly states that gold is prohibited as money. They made Haram (prohibited) what Allah made Halal (permissible) hence they embraced Shirk and the whole world embraced that Shirk too, including the followers of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
Here is what Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said about money in Islam, Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported Allah’s Messenger as saying: “Gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, and salt for salt. (When a transaction is) like for like, payment being made on the spot, then if anyone gives more or asks for more, he has dealt in Riba, the receiver and the giver being equally guilty.” (Muslim)
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) gave us a model of the monetary system where real money was used such as precious metals and when the demand of the metals was low wheat, barley, rice, etc. was used as money as they were commodities that have shelf life. When real money is used there is no transfer of wealth and wealth is circulated among the people based on demand and supply.
The current monetary system is bogus and fraudulent and acts as a vehicle of exploitation where the rich remain permanently rich and the poor remain imprisoned in permanent poverty. The banking system has been created to exploit the masses of the world and is one of the most dangerous weapons of the modern western civilization. John Perkins in his masterpiece “The confessions of an economic Hitman” has explained brilliantly the deception of the current system were loans are used to exploit the poor.
Our incapacity to think and recognize the deception that is taking place has led us to embrace this Shirk. It is of utmost importance to realize that the modern western civilization has the word Kafir (disbeliever) written on its forehead. The rise of LBGT in the recent months is a proof that the western civilization is moving towards destruction and the sun has almost set on the western world. The coming big war will destroy the modern west and all those on board of the western ship will perish too.
Allahumma inna a'oozubika minal kufri wasshirki
